Watch out Michael Phelps...

While we were in Richfield we decided to take Paxton swimming for the first time. I will be honest...I have planned on signing us up for mom and me swimming in the summer and I didn't want to be embarrassed if he got in the pool for the first time at lessons and hated it.
Luckily I don't think that we will have to worry about that...he LOVED swimming!
Here is his initial decent into the water...which was not exactly warm. Before we knew it he was paddling with his hands and kicking with his feet crusing all over the
pool. He even let us help him backfloat and dunk him all the way under the water!
Here he is swimming with his dad and his cousins Ofeina and Ami!
He got really excited once we pulled out his little yellow floaty! I think that we have just let him go by himself and he would have just kicked himself all around the pool!
I LOVE this picture of my boys...they look so HAPPY!
We are so excited for our next swimming adventure and even more excited for Mom and me swimming in the summer!

A Little of March...before it's April

I can't believe that March is almost over...it has gone by so stinkin fast! Paxton is 8 months old now. He hasn't changed much in weight (18 pounds 6 ounces) or height (27 inches) but he has changed alot in other ways...he is growing up so fast!
He is rolling and army crawling all over our house. He is apparently done with baby toys and wants to play with new things big boy things. He is finally starting to eat better!! I know this sounds crazy but I am 99% convinced that he wouldn't eat because of the stupid bib. The minute I gave in and just let him make a little mess he decided to eat like a champ. Pax has 6 teeth now (4 on top and 2 on the bottom) and they are the cutest crookedest things you have ever seen!
He has also gone through a very very bad phase this month...the I like everyone except my mother phase. He would cry when I tried to take him away from people, even the babysitter, and then look at me and cry even harder. When we were home he only wanted to be with Andy...nothing to do with me it was all Andy all the time. Luckily I think we are past that stage!
I tried to do a St. Patrick's Day photo shoot...but my child is mobile now and just will not sit still like he used to but what do you do he is still so dang cute!
We got to make a trip to Richfield this weekend...for Jake's Prom of course! It is our last official Richfield High School Prom after 7 kids...so sad!
Paxton apparently didn't enjoy Prom as much as the rest of us...maybe it was the choreographed dance with all the prom couples, the introduction of the couples, the slide show, or maybe it was the mother son dance that got to him...I just don't know. He may not of enjoyed it but were sure did!
We also finally figured out that Paxton's runny nose (since November) and hacking cough (for a month) is caused by allergies and asthma. Thanks to a little Zyrtec everyday he is finally getting back to his normal self!!

Happy Birthday Andy!!

Andy turned the big 33 on March 10th. He had the day off (unfortunately I couldn't get off as well) and got to spend the day with his favorite little guy! After I got home we went to dinner at Magelby's to celebrate! That night we had Andy's family over for cake and ice cream to celebrate Andy and his twin brother Jacob's birthdays!

I don't know who had more fun opening and playing with the presents...Andy or Paxton!

Thanks to everyone who could come and spend this special day with us!! We love having family close by to help celebrate special occasions!
Happy Birthday Babe!! I hope 33 will be as eventful and exciting as 32 was!
Paxton and I LOVE you and feel so blessed that we get to spend everday being together and enjoying our lives with you! We couldn't do it with out you!

It's Back...

Paxton has developed a very bad habit...grinding his teeth! As much as I love the ear piercing sound of his teeth rubbing together, he was doing it so much I was afraid he was going to grind his teeth down to pearly white stubs. I swear we spent a fortune on teething toys and things for him to chew on to stop the grinding but nothing would work...until we pulled out THE BINKY. He gave it up around 2 or 3 months and didn't want a thing to do with it well now he can't live without it...especially at night!
What have we done? If he didn't look so dang cute with it in his mouth (reminds me of when he was a newborn) I would probably take it away but he LOVES it!
Sometimes he even insists on having both of them so he can switch off...he is a silly boy!
