2 Months Old

Paxton turned 2 months old on September 12th...I can't believe how fast time flies. We took him to the doctor for his 2 month check-up. Our big boy currently weights in at 11 pounds 13 ounces (55%) and is 22 and 3/4 long (50%). Andy, Paxton, and I all survived the first set of shots and are glad we have a few months to go for the next set! Here are a few thing about Paxton at 2 months!

*He is such a cute boy and smiles and coos all of the time
*He is happiest in the morning when he first wakes up
*He is sleeping through the night...Wahoo!!
*He loves TV and lights
*He already has a preference for blankets and will only sleep with his fuzzy blankets
*He loves his vibrating chair
*He is wearing 3 month clothes and size 1 diapers...not for long at the rate he is going!

WE LOVE OUR LITTLE MAN!!

Our Son is a Genius!!

Andy is convinced that Paxton can talk already...I think it is just a fluke!! Either that or I am just really good at my job!

Sorry I can't get the video to turn the right way but it is definately the sound that counts on this one!!

Paxton's Blessing

We were able to bless Paxton on Sunday September 6th. He looked so handsome in his little blessing outfit!! We were so blessed to have so many family and friends there to show their love and support for our little family. In fact our Bishop thanked us for boosting the wards numbers for the month of September! Here are some pictures from our little man's big day!

Our Family!

Planning for this blessing was one fiasco after another. First of all half of the invitations did not get delivered...I still don't get how that happened and feel so bad about it. Then we had planned on having the lunch after the blessing at the park. All week the weather man said it was supposed to rain on and off all day so I worried and worried about having to have the lunch at my house. Well we woke up to sunny skies but when Andy went to the park to get started setting things up there was another family there having a party so we ended up eating at our house. There was about 50 people there so it was a little hot and crowded but thanks to our empty basement and big backyard it all turned out okay!
Here is some of the family and friends that were able to come...

It was my sister Jessica's 22nd birthday on the 6th so we bought her and Paxton a gigantic cake. We thought we would have a ton of cake left over to enjoy for the next week but practically the whole thing got eaten. There were a lot of Meyer's there and we are "pickers!"

Here we are after it was all over...sitting on the kitchen floor...breathing a sigh a of relief!

Thanks again to everyone who was able to come, it means so much to us to have such close loving families...we feel truly blessed by each one of you. Also to Andy, what a blessing it is to be able to have the power of the priesthood in our home. It was a wonderful blessing and a powerful testimony...a day I will never forget because of the feelings I felt of love for you and our son!
I Love You Babe!

A Few More Favorites

Sorry, we have been having some technical difficulties at our house so it has taken us a while to get these posted.don't worry there is more to come including Paxto's blessing from this past weekend! Anyway, it's amazing what a nice new camera and some furniture found on the side of the road can do! My friend Tracy took Paxton's pictures, while we were in Richfield few weekends ago, with her brand new fancy camera...I have camera envy now!! Sorry so many but they are so dang cute we couldn't pick just one or two!
