Tegan*9 Months

I can not believe that this little man is 9 months old already!!  Time is flying by and our little baby is definitely not a baby anymore!  Here is a little bit about Tegan at 9 months.
We took Tegan to his 9 month well check and he weighed in at 20 pounds 5 ounces (40%) and was 29 3/4 inches tall (90%) and as healthy as can be!!  He has had 2 ear infections in the past 2 months so we are playing the waiting game to see if they continue.  Tegan currently wears 12-18 month clothes and is quickly growing out of those...
Tegan has gotten quite mobile the past month.  He is still army crawling everywhere (although his army crawl looks more like he is trying to swim laps) and is able to crawl normally when he wants to.  He has learned to pull himself up to the couch but doesn't really know what to do when he gets there so we have had quite a few spills the past few days!  He is sitting up much better but still hasn't figured out that he can roll over from his belly to his back.  I think he just rolls onto his belly to get in crawling position and could care less about getting back onto his back!
Tegan still loves to eat everything and anything!  He is starting to get sick of baby food so we are venturing out into the world of real food and so far we have not found anything that he doesn't like!
Tegan currently loves: laughing with his brother, playing with paper, cruising around the house in his walker, reading books, laying on the couch with Dad to go to bed, following Mom around the house, his sippy cup, and playing with his toys!
We love you little man...now stop growing up so fast!!

Taking Jake to the MTC

On January 18th, we got to go with my family to drop my youngest brother Jake off at the MTC so that he can serve a mission for the next 2 years in Mexico.
While we were at my parents house for New Years, Jake decided it was time to get out the suitcases and start packing.  Paxton wasn't about to let Jake forget the most important thing...his best buddy!
On the day Jake left for the MTC those of us who could met for lunch at Goodwood before heading to the MTC.
Mom, Dad, Andy, Tegan, Jalizabeth, Paxton, Jessica and Elder Brown
Couldn't send him off without a few pictures!!
We love you Jake and are so proud of you and your decision to serve a mission!!
For anyone who wants to keep up with Jake and his mission antics...we are keeping a blog for him elderjakebrown.blogspot.com
