Family Pictures 2014

For teacher appreciation week one of the Moms (I work with a few of her kids) graciously offered to take our family pictures as a way to show her appreciation for all of the work I have done for her kids!  I was so grateful for her offer and immediately took her up on it!  I told her we were up for whatever she wanted and she started to scout out locations.  Knowing that we have 3 boys she found the perfect spot...a storage unit by Utah Lake.  At first I was skeptical but then we pulled up and say row after row of old gas pumps and car signs and I knew this would be perfect!  Paxton kept saying "We are at Radiator Springs!"
Here are some of our favorites!

Adventures at the Provo River Trail

Sunday afternoons are an interesting time in our house...I am a stay home, relax, watch a movie, read a book person while Andy is a get out of the house and do anything but stay home type of person.  Whether it is going for a drive or going on an adventure he wants to be out doing something.
This particular Sunday afternoon we found ourselves at Bridal Veil Falls for a visit to see the waterfalls and a walk on the Provo River Trail!  Who knew that this is the popular place to be on Sunday afternoons because it was packed!  The boys were dying to throw some rocks in the water but there were so many people I was afraid they would hit someone and so no rock throwing for them!
To distract them from their desire to throw rocks we headed up the trail.  It started off successfully...the boys were having fun walking, playing, and finding treasures on the side of the trail and then all of the sudden...
Tegan gave up...he was "way to tired" to keep walking and of course that one time we had only brought the single stroller because we were sure he would love running up and down the trail!
And after about the 15th time of him stopping and dropping in the middle of the trail we decided it was time to turn back.  Well that just meant that we had to deal with him all the way back to the car!  I bet in total he stopped and dropped to the ground about 25 times declaring that he was too tired, bored, etc.  I had to run to get him out of the way of countless bike riders, long boarders, and joggers before they ran him right over!
Finally Paxton came to the rescue...found both of the boys a stick and they fought bad guys, pirates, bugs, and each other the rest of the way down the trail!
Thank goodness they found some way to entertain themselves because I was much to busy enjoying this view of my happy little boy!

Paxton's Preschool Program

Paxton had his preschool end of the year program on May 1st because his teacher is going on maternity leave soon!  We have loved preschool this year and are amazed with all of the progress Paxton is made!  Even though I have spent the past 2 years debating about whether or not to send him to kindergarten...I finally feel confident that is his going to be ready to go and will do a great job!
We are especially grateful that Pax has such good friends...especially Teague!  They are so funny together...two totally different boys with different looks, different interests, and different hobbies but they definitely know how to have fun and laugh together!

 Our Preschool Graduate!!
This year for their program they told the story of Pete the Cat, I Love my White Shoes.  Paxton's part was "wet" where Pete steps in a puddle or a bucket and get's his shoes all wet!  He was so excited to hold up that raindrop and did an awesome job!

His favorite part was the end when they got treats!  He is a little bit spoiled in that class and managed to convince his teachers that he needed 2 ice creams, a few cookies, and a cupcake!
