Paxton's Blessing

We were able to bless Paxton on Sunday September 6th. He looked so handsome in his little blessing outfit!! We were so blessed to have so many family and friends there to show their love and support for our little family. In fact our Bishop thanked us for boosting the wards numbers for the month of September! Here are some pictures from our little man's big day!

Our Family!

Planning for this blessing was one fiasco after another. First of all half of the invitations did not get delivered...I still don't get how that happened and feel so bad about it. Then we had planned on having the lunch after the blessing at the park. All week the weather man said it was supposed to rain on and off all day so I worried and worried about having to have the lunch at my house. Well we woke up to sunny skies but when Andy went to the park to get started setting things up there was another family there having a party so we ended up eating at our house. There was about 50 people there so it was a little hot and crowded but thanks to our empty basement and big backyard it all turned out okay!
Here is some of the family and friends that were able to come...

It was my sister Jessica's 22nd birthday on the 6th so we bought her and Paxton a gigantic cake. We thought we would have a ton of cake left over to enjoy for the next week but practically the whole thing got eaten. There were a lot of Meyer's there and we are "pickers!"

Here we are after it was all over...sitting on the kitchen floor...breathing a sigh a of relief!

Thanks again to everyone who was able to come, it means so much to us to have such close loving families...we feel truly blessed by each one of you. Also to Andy, what a blessing it is to be able to have the power of the priesthood in our home. It was a wonderful blessing and a powerful testimony...a day I will never forget because of the feelings I felt of love for you and our son!
I Love You Babe!
