On October 13th, we took a little trip to Santaquin to go to the Red Barn, go on a hayride, and pick a pumpkin!
Paxton was excited to go on the hayride. We took this picture before we started the ride...as soon as the tractor started up Paxton insisted that he was a big boy and had to sit on the seat by himself.
Tegan immediately fell asleep!
We got out to the pumpkin patch and Andy and Paxton set off to find pumpkins for the boys!

The Circus!!
On October 11th, we were luckily enough to receive free tickets to the Picadilly Circus in Orem!! We took Jessica with us and had a great time watching the boxing kangaroo, the crazy clowns, and the amazing elephant show. I was amazed at how involved Paxton was watching the circus...he would clap and cheer and he never seemed to get bored!
The best part of the circus...the mini horses!! Paxton loved riding the little horses and we loved watching him...so much that we coughed up $5 to watch him do it again!!
Now we keep trying to convince Grandma and Grandpa that they need to add a mini horse to their little farm...too bad we are not getting too far!

Family Pictures October 2011
While we were in Richfield for Conference (and to watch my brother Jake open his mission call to...Veracruz, Mexico) we had my sister Jerika take some pictures for us! I am so happy about the results...finally something worth hanging up on the wall! ENJOY!!

Tegan*5 Months
Tegan is 5 months old already!! Seriously...where does the time go! Here is a little update about our little man!
This boy LOVES to eat...he has mastered rice cereal and has now moved onto oatmeal, all kinds of baby food and his new favorite treat...biscuits (and maybe the ice cream his dad let him eat the other day!) He kicked his big brother out of the highchair and loves to be a big boy eating meals with the rest of the family! Tegan is growing like crazy! He currently weighs 19 pounds and is 27 1/2 inches long! He wears size 4 diapers and is in 9 month clothes!
Tegan is a pretty active boy! He loves his bouncer and could jump and "skate" in that thing for hours...although he does wear himself out once in a while! He is still working on rolling over and sitting up but at least he will tolerate tummy time now which is progress! He has also recently discovered his toes and loves to try to get them in his mouth!
Here are some more fun facts about Tegan!
We love you little man!!
- He loves to hear his own voice and is always making noise...he has the cutest laugh!
- He definitely likes attention and will let you know if he feels neglected!
- He is starting to love toys, especially rattles and things that sing or make lots of noise!
- Tegan is sleeping through the night as long as he is wrapped up tight and has his pacifier!
My Big Helper
Paxton has become such a big boy the past couple of months! I am constantly amazed at how much he is learning and growing! Every day he comes up with something new and funny to say and it quickly becomes the phrase of the day which he repeats a million times! Today's saying...(long dramatic sigh) follow by "so funny mom!" We just love this kid!!
He loves to help clean up and is actually pretty good at it! For the past few months we have made him pick up his room every night before he goes to bed...but now he wants to help dust and sweep and wipe the floor! It is fun to have a helper!
He also loves to help in the kitchen, which I love...most of the time!
He also helped me set the table the other day! I love how well everything was lined up and the table...he definitely gets that from me!

Rice Cereal
At Tegan's 4 month well check, the doctor gave us the okay to go ahead and start rice cereal! I was pretty skeptical because we waited until 6 months with Paxton and he hated rice cereal and baby food. Well our little chubster Tegan is totally opposite! He LOVES rice cereal and LOVES baby food...I think he just LOVES to eat no matter what it is!!
He he is taking his first bite of rice cereal...swallowed it all and practically begged for more!
This little man definitely isn't going to go hungry!

I think he thinks that the food comes out of his fingers because every time I take to long to get him another bite he puts one of his fingers in his mouth and starts sucking it like crazy
Since we started rice cereal he has also tried peas, green beans, applesauce, and peaches and LOVED it all! Good job Little Man!!
Photography...by Paxton
Paxton has discovered a new favorite toy at our house...and why not it combines 2 great things pushing buttons and flashing lights! It seems like every time I go to take a picture of something I get a message saying that our memory card is full and have to erase 10-20 self portraits of Paxton!
