One of my New Years resolutions this year is to keep a better record of some of the funny things my kids are saying and doing lately. At 4 and 2 you just never quite know what is going to come out of their mouths! PS...Costumes are a must at our house...Paxton got a bunch of costumes for Christmas and I don't think there is a day that goes by that I am not putting on or taking of some sort of costume for these boys!
*One night when Andy was putting him to bed Pax grabbed Andy's faces and told him, "Dad, you know I love you even when I hate you."
*The boys are into watching music videos on YouTube lately...we try to keep it to Disney songs but there are a few songs that they have heard on the radio that they insist on watching. They have watched them so much that they are constantly singing them around the house. The other day I heard Pax singing "All the way the systems go, un a un a oh oh oh. This is it an off the lips oh oh...Radioactive, Radioactive." (Radioactive-Imagine Dragons)
*Pax was mad at me the other day and told me, "I am so angry with you...that's it you don't get to be a farmer anymore and farmers are cool."
TEGAN-
*Last night in his nightly prayer Tegan said, "Thank you for the remote and thank you for the tv." I am surprised he forgot his iPad!
*Both of the boys have learned this new word...Rude. They are constantly telling me and Andy..."You are so rude at me or I am so rude at you." They think Rude means mad but it is so cute!
*Tegan's favorite YouTube song is Brave by Sara Berrelis. He sings the following, "Stay where you want to stay, I want to see you be brave." He also likes the song, Wanted by Hunter Hayes. He used to sing it correctly but lately (thanks to Paxton) it has turned into, "I want to rock you up, I want to shake your face in my eye."
*Tegan loves to tell everybody, "I so proud of you!!" I change his bum...he's proud of me, I get him dressed...he's proud of me, I tuck him in...he's proud of me! Kind of nice to hear once in a while!!
